Insulated or Non-Insulated?
First Step: Let’s decide if you need insulated or non-insulated
Non-Insulated
Looking for our most budget-friendly option? Meet our non-insulated garage door! It features a single layer of steel and has a hollow back. It looks just as sharp as our other doors from the outside and has a panel construction that is built for durability. Choose from many panel styles, window designs, and colors. This door does not provide temperature control.
Insulated: Polystyrene Insulation, Vinyl Backing
Our 2-layer, vinyl back insulated garage door is a fantastic mid-grade option! It consists of two solid layers: a steel layer on the front and a thick, high-quality insulation layer behind it covered with a vinyl backing. This door will offer a mid-level insulation factor and comes in many styles, colors, and optional window patterns.
Insulated: Polystyrene Insulation, Steel Backing (Best Seller!)
Our 3-layer insulated door is our top pick and our best seller! This door is incredibly robust, featuring a layer of steel on both the front and back, with solid, high-quality insulation sandwiched between the two. This door has a high insulation factor and provides extra protection to the back of the door with its solid layer of steel, in comparison to the vynil back door. Due to its multiple layers, it is extremely durable as well. For most homes, this door offers more than enough insulation to keep your garage comfortable!
Insulated: Polyurethane Insulation, Steel Backing (Highest Insulation!)
If you are looking to go the extra mile in terms of insulation, our polyurethane-insulated doors are an excellent choice. Perhaps you have converted the garage to a room or workspace and want to keep the temperature very comfortable? Maybe you store temperature-sensitive materials in the garage? This door has all of the benefits of the standard 3 layer door plus a higher insulation factor. Please note: the garage itself will need to be highly insulated as well for this door to make a difference with temperature control.
